Description
We consider the homogenization of the time-dependent compressible Navier–Stokes equations in the low Mach number regime in domains with critically scaled perforations. In analogy to a classical result of Allaire (ARMA90) for the incompressible fluids, we obtain in the limit the incompressible Navier–Stokes system with an additional Brinkman friction term.
