The aim of the Heavy Ion Accelerator Symposia on Fundamental and Applied Science (HIAS) is to provide a forum to bring together researchers from the international community to discuss the uses and development of Heavy Ion Accelerators. It is intended that participants include, but are not limited to, instrumentation and accelerator experts, national and international researchers, students and potential user communities.
